Are you subbing but looking for something more consistent and meaningful? Huntington Learning Center is urgently hiring positive and passionate tutors to join our dynamic team at local area schools. This position is for ELA instruction. This is an in-person position at the school during the typical school day . This is NOT a remote position. BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED, at a minimum.

Position Details :

  • Part-Time : Hours vary Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm.
  • Duration : Now through May 2025 , with potential for continuation during the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Location : local area schools
  • Grade Levels : 6-12

Education / Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
  • Teaching certificate is preferred, but not required.

    • Compensation :

  • With Bachelor's Degree : from $23.00 per hour.
  • With valid Teaching Certification : from $26.00 per hour.

    • Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
  • Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum.
  • Administer baseline tests at established intervals.
  • Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
  • Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.

  • Possess computer operating knowledge.
  • Clear pre-employment checks and employment eligibility.
