We are looking for a positive and passionate math tutor to join our dynamic team at Kenton Ridge Middle School in the Northeastern School District. This position is for middle school math instruction. This is an in-person position Tuesday through Friday at Kenton Ridge Middle School during the school day. This is NOT a remote position.
Position Details
- Part-Time: 30 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from approximately 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Duration: March 2024 to May 2024, with potential for continuation during the 2024-2025 school year
- Location: Kenton Ridge Middle School
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
- A valid teaching certificate is preferred, but not required.
- With Bachelors Degree: From $28.00 per hour.
- With valid Teaching Certification: From $30.00 per hour.
- Paid training.
- Curriculum and supplies provided.
- An accomplished team of educators who make a difference in the lives of students.
- Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
- Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum.
- Administer computerized baseline tests at established intervals.
- Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
- Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
- Adhere to Huntington Learning Center’s mission statement that Every Child Can Learn.
- Possess basic computer operating knowledge.
- Clear pre-employment checks and employment eligibility.
