The Institutional Sales Support Associate is a key role in providing exceptional service and support to institutional sales representatives and customers. The position will require you to develop an expertise on process and procedures and to assist with escalated issues and problem resolution. You will work with external/internal partners and act as the liaison between customers, sales representatives, and operations. In this dynamic environment, you may participate on special projects to drive process improvement.
This position is responsible for daily sales support and coordination of activities related to client service including customer onboarding/maintenance, processing of account paperwork, trade support and processing, funds movement, responding to customer inquiries, and coordination of business development activities.

- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customer by providing an excellent customer experience and building rapport
- Acts as a point of contact for clients, sales teams, and internal partners. May act as an escalation point for client servicing issues
- Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts.
- Prepare, review, and validate account onboarding/maintenance documentation and relevant information for accuracy and completeness before submission
- Performs updates and verifies client account information and/or transaction details in relevant systems and ensures compliance with standard regulations and processes.
- Delivers scalable, repeatable processes to ensure all client requests have been handled accurately and timely.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of knowledge of products and services, systems and related technology, policies and procedures.
- Assists customers in meeting their investment objectives by executing, approving, and allocating trades, providing quotes and market information.
- Support The Huntington Liquidity Portal platform including system demonstrations, trade processing, and settlement process
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely securities trade and settlement processing
- Research and resolve trade settlements issues such as DKs and unsettled trades by coordinating with other departments and external parties
- Maintain desktop procedures and resources
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5 or more years of experience within Investments/Financial Services
- Must obtain within 12 months of hire the FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63
- 1 or more years of customer service experience within Investments/Financial Services or related experience
- At least 1 year of Broker dealer experience
- FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63
- Detail oriented with exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; adaptive to change
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with customers and internal/external partners
- Ability to create and foster strong partnerships with business partners and work well in a team environment
- Experience with Bloomberg TOMS
- Experience with Institutional customers and fixed income products
- Experience with DTCC Central Trade Matching Platform and ALERT
