Compensation Range
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. Summary
Huntington is seeking a Risk Policy Analyst to work as a member of the Issues Risk Management / Segment Risk Office. The qualified individual will support Management with oversight of Huntington’s Risk Polies as well as support other activities within the Segment Risk oversight related to Risk Management.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of a framework to build out Risk policy and monitor for policy compliance across Risk Management;
- Monitor and report on policy exceptions;
- Assist with data verification for quarterly Self Assessment Process;
- Risk Pillar self-evaluation monitoring;
- Execute periodic QA/QC reviews;
- Monitor appropriate systems for regular cadence of validations of Risks and Controls;
- Identify areas for improvement and remain flexible to perform other assignments as requested;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years’ experience ideally in Banking, Finance or similar with a working knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry best practices in risk governance and policy management.
- Bachelor's in Finance or Information Technology or equivalent
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to be adaptable and handle changing requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to produce concise and effective presentations
- Ability to work in a small team environment, building and maintain a network of contacts and coordinating with a large number of stakeholders
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel)
