Huntington Psychological Services, a provider of psychological and neuropsychological assessment services in Pasadena, CA, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Psychometrist / Psychological Testing Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of licensed psychologists. This role is perfect for someone passionate about contributing to mental health care and supporting our clients in achieving their best outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and score a variety of standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests to clients of all ages.
- Ensure tests are conducted in a standardized, ethical, and professional manner.
- Record detailed behavioral observations and organize test data for review by a supervising psychologist.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with supervisor to support assessment processes and report preparation.
- Participate in training and supervision sessions as needed to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field (Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred).
- Previous experience as a psychometrist, psychological testing technician, or in administering psychological/neuropsychological tests is highly desired.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and work effectively with our staff.
- Familiarity with common assessment tools (e.g., WISC-V, WAIS-IV/5, WIAT-4, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in psychological testing.
Schedule:
- Part-time position to start, requiring availability for one or two days per week.
- Flexible scheduling, with days and times to be coordinated with the supervising psychologist.
