Huntington University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Business with a focus on accounting. This position is available beginning in the Fall 2025 semester. Successful candidates will be passionate about developing the next generation of leaders who are being called to serve our communities, to provide meaningful work for others, to generate profit for good and to be godly and ethical global citizens. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to assist students in developing professional and life skills in accounting, problem-solving, financial management, and analytical and strategic thinking.
Evidence of successful teaching within a business curriculum is expected. The ideal candidate will have additional accounting experience outside of academia.
The business department at Huntington offers B.S. degrees in accounting, economics and finance, management, marketing, entrepreneurial business, and sport management. The department also provides support to the MBA program and the undergraduate agri-business program. The business department is one of the largest academic departments on campus with over 200 students and decades of successful alumni effectively working and serving.
Qualifications
- Commitment to Christian faith and to faith-learning integration
- Ability to teach effectively within a Christian university
- PhD or DBA and CPA preferred, appropriate Master’s level degree required
- Relevant experience in business
