SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES : Teaches students academic curriculum following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. Includes developing and delivering engaging lesson plans, fostering students’ literacy and communication skills, and assess student progress. Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, provide student support, ability to effectively communicate with students, parents / guardians, colleagues, and administration.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and / or training preferred. Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and composition. Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with Senior High School English or ELA endorsement.
