Job Overview
The Huron County Engineer’s Office is accepting applications the full-time position of Project Inspector.
Project Inspector conducts on-site inspections of all county projects and township projects. Inspects county roads, bridges and culverts; recommends repair and maintenance; administrates utility and right-of-way permits; addresses resident complaints. Works with road superintendent to coordinate work schedules and safety procedures., and performs other duties as may be required. Salary commensurate with experience/qualifications.
Experience /Qualifications
Completion of secondary education or equivalent, and three (3) year's experience in road maintenance and/or construction project management; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Applicant must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s license; must maintain insurability under the Engineer’s insurance policy.
