Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Participate in special events or banquets as needed, providing tailored beverage service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic sales techniques is beneficial.
