The Director of Risk Management, Safety and Regulatory at Hurricane Express is responsible for overseeing all safety programs, risk management strategies, and compliance initiatives to ensure the safe and efficient operations of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Program Implementation: Oversee the implementation of comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with trucking operations.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and other relevant safety guidelines.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for drivers, maintenance staff, and other employees.
- Incident Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, prepare regular reports for senior management, and conduct thorough investigations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Risk Management, Transportation, or a related field.

- In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and other relevant safety guidelines.
