Job Duties
- Maintain PPE’s
- Interpret project blueprints and drawings
- Read and take measurements
- Draw out steel jacketing measurements
- Cut steel with sheers following drawn measurements
- Use cranes to move parts throughout shop
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Comply with OSHA standards
- Follow orders of Foreman and Shop Supervisor
Skills Required
- Ability to operate hand held machinery with precision
- Attention to detail
- Timeliness and punctuality
- General understanding of operation of hand tools
- Ability to communicate and function in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use power tools
- Ability to lift objects over 50 pounds
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
