**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our civil engineering team and lead the successful delivery of complex civil engineering projects within specified timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and proven experience in full project lifecycle management.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate effectively with engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Oversee the design, construction, and overall completion of projects.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial targets are met.
- Coordinate workload distribution among engineers and designers involved in projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards in all project phases.
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders, managing expectations proactively.
- Foster business development by nurturing client relationships and expanding the existing client base.
**Qualifications:**
- Self-motivated individual with a proactive and positive approach.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering exceptional client service and overseeing employees effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in consulting engineering practices is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering, including at least 5 years in project management roles.
- Possession of a valid PE (Professional Engineer) license in good standing from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
