What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Sales Team (60%)
- Structure sales territories to maximize growth and market potential.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback to your team.
- Foster a culture of accountability and success through performance appraisals and development opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Conduct quarterly ride-alongs with direct reports to mentor and support field sales.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent.
- Champion the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track performance and insights.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed regional targets.
- Monitor and manage regional budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct business review meetings with major customers to strengthen partnerships.
- Analyze market trends and competitive data to stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to create impactful promotions and sales initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for new products and services that drive customer value.
- Oversee and approve expense reports and manage travel budgets efficiently.
- Ensure CRM adoption and monitor team usage for data accuracy.
- Keep a pulse on departmental expenses and align with business objectives.
- Provide regular updates on KPIs and business performance.
Leadership & Sales Expertise
- Passion for building and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to foster new customer relationships and expand business opportunities.
- Self-driven with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of market trends and sales strategies.
- Expert knowledge of concrete surfaces & flooring products and applications.
- Strong competency in CRM, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities across product categories.
- 4 years of sales experience (management experience preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in analytics-driven sales organizations.
- Willingness to travel 60-75% of the time.
- Ability to work remotely and on the road.
