What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Human Resources position at Husqvarna Professional Products, Inc.?

As a member of the North American Human Resources team, the incumbent provides support to the Orangeburg based operations. The Manager, People and Organization will direct the planning and implementation of policies, practices, and initiatives related to Talent Management, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training & Development and Employee Engagement of specific business unit within the Orangeburg manufacturing facility. The Manager, People and Organization responsibilities include assisting in supporting the long term strategy while tactically supporting the business leaders and employees. The incumbent will partner with leadership and collaborate on solutions for the business, people and organizational issues. The position reports to the Director, People and Organization and will manage an HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner. What You Need to Know: • Function as the key HR strategic business partner to develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies within specific a business unit(s) • Responsible for execution of all annual people cycle activities • Be a credible coach and trusted business partner to leaders, as well as a strong employee advocate • Provide leadership, guidance and counsel on matters related to talent, organizational development and change, human capital, compensation strategies, employee engagement, employee relations, etc. • Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications • Understands and able to apply Work Comp laws and regulations by seeking out additional education and law resources • Collaborates with other HR leaders to share best practices, critical needs issues, and business unit initiatives • Builds and supports an employee engagement strategy that facilitates organizational performance and path towards our desired culture What We Are Looking For: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field; • 5 years of HR Business Partner experience; 2 years people management experience (can be concurrent) • HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred • HR experience in a durable goods manufacturing environment • Ability to identify, react and establish solutions in fast pace work environment • Demonstrated depth and breadth of core areas of Human Resources (i.e., talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, leadership development, etc.) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work at all levels of the organization • Strong knowledge and understanding of employment laws, requirements and regulations for the US • Excellent time management and organization skills with ability to multi-task • Operates with the utmost integrity and trust Last date to apply: We are continuously accepting applications Shaping great experiences is what we do.
