Hutchinson Manufacturing is seeking a Receiving and Inventory Specialist. This is a 1st Shift opportunity from 5 am to 3:30 pm- Monday through Thursday.

Summary
To orderly and accurately receive various types of materials for the entire company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Determines method of shipment. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers. Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape. Inserts items into containers.
Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
Unpacks & examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Routes items to departments. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials & supplies.
Operates lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
Issue PO’s to OSV’s
Warehouse Control---make sure the warehouses stay intact and up to date on inventory.
Cycle Counts of hardware and raw material. This person would be the driver.
Inventory Moves in the system as in even raw materials.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D; or 1 related years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft correspondence.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Epicor ERP software.

Forklift Certification; Crane Certification
