The Clinical Supervisor of the Learn and Play Therapeutic Center serves under the direction of the Manager of LPTC along with the Director of Outpatient Clinical Services to oversee the delivery of mental health services to children and their families seeking services from LPTC. The Supervisor provides support, supervision and training to non-clinical direct care staff (Case Managers and Attendant Care Workers) at LPTC in coordination with other community partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the management of non-clinical direct care staff as well as on-going training regarding ethical and clinical situations at the LPTC
- Participates in the onboarding process of non-clinical staff
- Educates staff on proper documentation for accuracy, quality and timeliness.
- Responsible for processing of payroll for the non-clinical direct care staff as well as additional expenses
- Explores potential grants and assists in the application process for the LPTC
- Leads monthly rounding with staff individually along with coaching of non-clinical direct care staff as needed
- Performs yearly evaluations for non-clinical direct care staff
- Serves on the Manager and Supervisor team to engage in the mission of the organization and to ensure communication is occurring well between departments
- Serves as an active participant in the annual development and implementation of the Psychosocial Group curriculum.
- Maintains a reduced direct productivity level as determined by the Manager and Director
- Works with LPTC Manager to monitor, track and manage data related to licensing regulations for the facility and for staff
- Leads weekly classroom meetings and biweekly staff meetings to discuss cases
- Process and collaborate with treatment team on LPTC cases
- Market the LPTC mission and goal within the community
- Role model and assist staff with crisis cases while billing appropriately
- Cover Admin Supervisor and duties as needed

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Have at least a BA/BS degree or be equivalently qualified by work experience or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year of experience substituting for one year of education.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Three years’ experience working with children with serious emotion disturbance.
- Three years’ experience in the direct provision of community services to serious emotionally disturbed children, adults and their families.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Supervisory and clinical experience
LICENSURE OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- Employee must complete CPST Case Management on-line training, KHS on-line training, pass KBI, DCF Health Assessment, DCF child abuse check, adult abuse registry, and motor vehicle screens. Within 60 days of employment, the employee must have completed Children Case Management training. Within 90 days of employment, the employee must have completed the HRHS Supervisor/Leadership Training.

- KDHE assigned trainings for LPTC licensure
