Job Description
The manager is expected to seek out and win orders, meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets with the support of management. The manager will also have to maintain work interfaces with Hutchinson ADI's Divisions in Europe (France & Germany), and with the company's US based divisions.
The Key Responsibilities for this role :
Work closely with customers, cross-functional teams, management and assigned personnel to plan and develop scope, deliverables, work plans, budget, and proposal development efforts.
Facilitate communications and business issues between customers and Hutchinson ADI business units. Support new Hutchinson program kickoff activities and provide liaison with program managers.
Develop and mature professional relationships with potential customers from Aerospace and Aero-Defense related companies, suppliers, and industries.
Education and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is an advantage
US citizen (i.e. American Passport / Green card) preferred but not mandatory
Working technical knowledge in Aerospace & Aero-Defense products in general and aerostructures, aircraft interior components and systems or equivalent.
5-10 years' experience in capturing new business in those related products.
Ability to work independently as well as lead cross functional teams.
All other duties as required.
Communication Skills :
Preparing and presenting detailed reports and presentations to customers, management, peers, and partners, thus a high level of competency in both written and oral communication.
Strong influencing skills and ability to build alliances with Hutchinson ADI business units.
Technical Skills :
The individual must be competent in engineering / technologies necessary to perform the required work and to be able to understand technical papers and discussions. Risk management and implementation of mitigation principles needed. Effective time management and organizational skills a must.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills required.
