Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive prompt, friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while checking on their satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and food safety practices is essential.
- Experience with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong guest relations skills with an ability to create memorable dining experiences through attentive service.
- Culinary knowledge or background is advantageous for providing informed menu suggestions.
