Principal Software Engineer - GenAI
Location: Fully Remote
A fast growing AI start up who have built an AI SaaS platform for optimizing bidding strategies are looking for principal engineers to lead critical initiatives in implementing GenAI initiatives as a part of their product
Job Description: We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in Generative AI applications and large language models (LLMs) such as the GPT series, Claude series, and Gemini. You will embed state-of-the-art AI technologies into our platform, enhancing its value and driving technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate Generative AI applications using LLMs.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to implement user requirements.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and security.
- Support continuous innovation and optimize existing functionalities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to maintain seamless operations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in SaaS environments at growth-stage companies.
- Expertise in Generative AI and LLMs (GPT series, Claude series, Gemini).
- Proficiency with frameworks like LangChain, embedding workflows, and vector databases.
- Problem solver with startup experience.
- Passionate about innovation and AI, with a "fail fast and iterate" mindset.
- Strong collaborator in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Required Experience:
- Experience with tools like LangChain, LangGraph, and Agentic AI.
- Proficiency in React/Next.js and backend development with Python.
- 2-3 years of software development experience focused on SaaS platforms.
Desired Experience:
- Experience with fine-tuning LLMs.
- Familiarity with OpenAI/AzureAI APIs and additional AI frameworks.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a Federal Background Check and Identity Verification.
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
