What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter/Onboarding Specialist position at HV Health and Safety?
SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiter to join our team working in a clinical environment. We are a rapidly growing Occupational Health & Safety company providing essentials medical services to industrial, construction, and remote infrastructure sites across the US.
The Recruiter will assist with all duties of the recruitment process. The Recruiter will assist the HR management with recruiting candidates to fill open roles, focus on growing the company’s talent pipeline and improve sourcing tactics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, posting new positions, and monitoring all job postings.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screenings, interviewing and coordinating offers for EMTs, paramedics and clinical staff.
- Manage a high volume of open roles across multiple sites, ensuring vacancies are filled in a timely manner.
- Assist with the onboarding process by ordering background checks, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
- Oversee newly hired employees and executing the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure that job descriptions are regularly reviewed and updated as duties change, and roles evolve.
- Ensures that new and accurate job posting are listed..
- File any HR related paperwork.

COMPETENCIES
Full understanding of human resources processes and best practices.
Outstanding speaking and listening skills to share information effectively, while paying careful attention to concerns and questions from employees and job applicants.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Highly computer literate with capability in email, Adobe acrobat, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
Familiarity with social media recruiting.
In-depth understanding of sourcing tools,like resume databases and online communities
Organizational and time management skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred
Two year of related experience, preferably in human resources/administrative position.
