The Opportunity
We are seeking a strong Branch Coordinator responsible for coordinating, controlling, and directing activities within our Houston, San Antonio, and Austin portable rental businesses. Must be detail and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of correspondence with customers, technicians, supervisors, and sales. Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment. Success in this role can prepare an individual for future leadership roles within HVAC RNTL.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day to day operations of the branch
- Coordinates technician work schedules, customer deliveries/pickups, & service calls for rental technicians within the greater Dallas area
- Schedule personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability
- Generates Work Order Documents, dispatches technicians and notifies customers
- Responsible for project coordination with customers
- Drives quality of workmanship on jobsites and champions cleanliness and organization of our branch
- Partners with the National Service Leader to execute strategic priorities in the local branch
- Coordinates operations interaction with sales and other departments, as necessary
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff and responding to special requests
- Maintains accurate timesheets and costs per project
- Responsible for branch inventory accuracy
- Is a champion of work processes and technology adoption
- Ability to work regularly and dependably
- Ability to function in a team environment
- Manages on call schedules
- Demonstrate ability to maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers
- Assists with various warehouse or field activities as needed
- Ensures employees in the branch are following appropriate safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The Required Profile
- Associates Degree in Business or related field and 1 year minimum experience working in a service coordination role; or 3 years combination of education or experience
- Ability to influence the local team and peer teams to work together to drive an exceptional customer experience while driving strong business results
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work on a day to day basis
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Rental, or Construction industry experience a plus

Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in our Coppell office building most days with some jobsite travel locally as required.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
