Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Order Processing Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a creative work mind for process improvements. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in team management, ensuring that our department meets its operational goals while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations ensuring that orders are fulfilled, shipped, and tracked efficiently
- Supervise employee schedules, ensuring coverage and timely completion of tasks.
- Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to existing team members.
- Serve as the first point of contact for team members who need help resolving routine issues, such as delays or system problems.
- Address and communicate operational issues (shipping delays, stock discrepancies) to the manager as needed.
- Assist in implementing new processes or changes within the department
- Assist in collaborating with other departments, such as customer service or the warehouse to resolve order-related issues
- Assist in approving time off, timecards, and PayPal invoices
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar leadership role within an e-commerce company
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with other managers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- A commitment to fostering a positive work culture that prioritizes teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
