POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the hotel's sales and marketing efforts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and assisting in marketing initiatives to drive revenue. This role focuses on increasing hotel occupancy and maximizing profitability through proactive sales strategies, promotional activities, and excellent customer service. The Sales Manager works closely with hotel leadership and team members to ensure guest satisfaction and long-term business success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
- Identify and build relationships with potential clients, corporate partners, and local businesses to generate new sales opportunities.
- Conduct sales calls, meetings, and hotel tours to showcase hotel facilities and services.
- Assist in negotiating and securing group bookings, corporate accounts, and extended stays.
- Work with the General Manager to develop pricing strategies and promotional offers.
- Support advertising and marketing initiatives, including online, print, social media, and direct marketing campaigns.
- Maintain records of sales performance, customer interactions, and potential leads.
- Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure guest satisfaction and a seamless booking experience.
- Attend networking events and represent the hotel in community engagements.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and analyzing performance data to improve sales strategies.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up with potential and current clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demand.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in hospitality, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Experience with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
