HX5 is currently seeking a Network & Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist with system administration of network, Web, and / or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security
- Assist with managing hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipment
- Assist end-users with the operation and restoration of information systems
- Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client / server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle management
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems
- Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions
