HX5 is actively searching for a Systems Engineer, to support the ARRW team at Eglin AFB, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide resources with the knowledge and experience to efficiently and effectively deliver systems engineering capability in support of the acquisition process.
- Provide knowledge and experience to support the following activities for armament systems; material solution analysis, technology, engineering, and manufacturing development, production and deployment, and operation and support.
- Plan and execute technical reviews and assessments (e.g., System Requirements Review, Technology Readiness Assessment) and documentation development (e.g., Systems Engineering Plan, Risk Management Plan).
- Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering weapon systems.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college.
- BS degree and five (5) years of professional experience; or a MS degree and three (3) years of professional experience
Preferences:
- Experience with Systems Engineering and/or Flight Test
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel as necessary.
