We are seeking a goal oriented, motivated Front Office Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

This highly skilled Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Front Desk Manager, Hotel Manage and/ or the General Manager while providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay. He/she is also responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Will also perform any other job duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to work well in stressful high pressure situations including ability to handle guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
  • Must have three years of experience and or in a similar position.
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

In order to maintain a positive guest and team members experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactory. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Preferred to have at least three years of experience in the hotel industry and or a similar position.

  • Will acquire a Criminal Background Check, and E-Verify

Required Education

  • High school or equivalent
