Night Auditor (Part Time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. This position involves performing front desk duties, managing guest relations, and conducting nightly financial audits to ensure accuracy in all transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests upon arrival and during their stay, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, providing guests with accurate information about hotel services.
• Manage phone systems and maintain professional phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or reservations.
• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reporting discrepancies.
• Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics for management review.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the hotel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area during shifts.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a hotel environment.
• Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management systems is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally.
• Proficiency in phone systems and excellent phone etiquette are essential for this role.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
• A background in hospitality management or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
