POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of all public areas, bathrooms, pool, hallways, stairwells, business center, fitness center, elevators and banquet facility spaces as well as the exterior grounds and areas. This position also stocks items necessary in these areas including paper products, sanitizer, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vacuum the hallways on every guest room floor and all carpeting in the main level.
- Clean elevator doors, tracks, interior and flooring.
- Clean and dust stairwells; vacuuming as needed.
- Dusting of light fixtures, baseboards, etc. of all areas.
- Cleaning of all public bathrooms; toilets, sinks, floors, walls, refill soap and paper products.
- Clean pool floor and wipe down all furniture, tables and set up furniture in a welcoming fashion.
- Wipe down fitness equipment; floor and other fixtures.
- Restock towels in the pool and fitness area.
- Dust, sanitize lobby furniture as required by brand.
- Clean windows, doors and glass fixtures to ensure visibility and cleanliness standards.
- Walk the exterior of property twice daily and pick up any trash in landscape, bushes as well as cigarette butts; ensure parking lot is clear of debris including dirt and build up.
- Clean outdoor patio areas; ensure floors are clean and free of residue; arrange outdoor furniture in orderly fashion.
- Remove trash and replace liners in all interior and exterior areas; clean cigarette post.
- Assist in setting up banquets, meetings and other events as needed.
- Assist housekeepers in removal of dirty linens to take to laundry as needed.
- Assist maintenance with general repairs such as light bulbs, battery replacement.
- Ensure cleanliness of all hotel entrances.
- All other duties as assigned.

No direct supervisory responsibilities.
