We are seeking a Pastry Cook—an intermediate-level role perfect for someone with prior baking and pastry experience looking to grow within a supportive, stable culinary environment. You’ll work alongside a long-tenured management team and skilled peers in a high-volume resort setting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality pastry items including breakfast pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, mousses, custards, ice creams, sorbets, and specialty amenity items.
Follow all prep lists, banquet event orders (EOs), and standardized recipes.
Review assignments with the Executive Pastry Chef and/or Pastry Supervisor at the start of each shift.
Maintain sanitation, food safety, and temperature logs in line with HACCP standards.
Safely operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment, report issues promptly.
Rotate through various pastry stations including café, breakfast, outlets, and banquets.
Ensure proper dating, labeling, storage, and rotation of food items.
Support and communicate with team members to meet service expectations and department goals.
Qualifications

Previous professional baking and pastry experience required.
Culinary school or formal pastry training preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Professional demeanor, grooming, and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
A passion for baking and a desire to grow in the culinary field.
