What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller of Hospitality Services position at Hyatt?
The Chief Financial Officer - Hotel Management will be responsible for leading the accounting and control function of the hotel, driving financial performance, and contributing to the company's mission. As a member of the leadership team, you will oversee the division's financial activities, report operational results, and provide financial support to hotel management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, leadership, and communication skills, with 6 years or more of progressive hotel Accounting experience. You will be responsible for managing the Accounting function, participating in total hotel management as a member of the Hotel Leadership Committee, and ensuring proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting, and analysis for the hotel.
You will work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance, manage costs, and drive revenue growth. In addition, you will supervise the Information Technology function and have a sound understanding of the hotel operational and back-office systems as well as Microsoft Office products.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds. You will also be an advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel.
