Joining a team of Architects, Interior Designers, and Construction Managers the Director will design and collaborate cross-functionally with internal Development, Operations, and Brand teams to support Hyatt as a leading hospitality company. The Role
The Director of Design will lead several Hyatt Hotel projects throughout the Americas region.These projects are a mix of new builds, renovations, conversions, and adaptive reuse. The role is focused on Hyatt’s Select Service Brands which include Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Caption by Hyatt.Using Hyatt Brand Standards as a guideline, this role will direct and lead external developers, owners, operators, and consultants through the process of designing and opening a Hyatt hotel.Additional responsibilities and duties consist of creating concept layouts, developing area programs, reviewing standards documentation, visiting properties, and special projects, active listening, and thorough communication.This individual must be:

The salary range for this position is $112,500 to $130,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.

Experience Required:
- 8-12 years of hospitality design experience either working with or for major hotel brands
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Architectural License preferred
- AutoCAD and Bluebeam proficiency
