Essential Duties And Responsibilities
A director of front office typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Ensuring that guests have a positive experience and feel valued by the company
- Training new employees on company policies, procedures, and culture
- Creating and maintaining relationships with customers, clients, vendors, and partners to ensure that they are satisfied with services provided by the company
- Reviewing all incoming customer complaints and making sure they are addressed in a timely manner
- Managing employee schedules to ensure that all shifts are covered at all times
- Managing the front office team to ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely manner
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Preparing reports on company performance to upper management
- Coordinating with other departments such as Human Resources to ensure that employees are treated fairly.
- Minimum 2 years of Front Office leadership experience ideally in a luxury property.
- Knowledge of PMS/Opera and some knowledge in Housekeeping department ideal.
- Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
- Previous Hyatt experience a plus
