Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting a Meeting Concierge to join the hotel’s opening team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. Opening in late 2024, the property boasts 287 guestrooms including 34 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who’s who of Miami. The primary role of a Meeting Concierge is to provide the highest level of customer service possible while assisting guests with their requests and providing information that will enhance their stay. They will also oversee the other concierge staff to ensure projects are being completed and schedule according to occupancy. Their job duties require style and service attributes that are key to creating a positive guest experience. Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g. transportation, dining reservations, local activities, etc.) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers.
- Respond to special requests with unique needs and follow up with the guest or vendor to ensure satisfaction.
- Accurately enter all guest requests and necessary information into GoConcierge
- Monitor F&B outlets for seating availability, service, and overall feel of a particular area.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Schedule concierge based on the demand of the hotel.
- Provide gracious and efficient telephone service as it relates to general PBX services. All calls must be answered promptly with a smile, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
- Review and noting all special requests of guests.
- Complete all items on the daily checklist
- Take, record, and rely messages and notes accurately, completely, and legibly
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel
- Provide assistance to the front desk when needed
- Must ensure the concierge desk and lobby are clean, organized and tidy
- Maintain complete knowledge of the property :
o F&B outlets ( Hours of Operation, Cuisine, and location )
o Room types, numbers, layout, décor and locations
o Room availability, dailyAny in-house groups, events and activities
