Position Description: As our Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing diverse aspects of our daily operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including bookkeeping, shipping coordination, document management, inventory control, and human resources administration.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Financial Stewardship: Maintain and record the company's daily financial transactions.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports for review by senior management.
- Human Resources Management: Efficiently manage all aspects of human resources, including maintaining employee files.
Prepare and process payroll while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Ensure the proper filing of employee paperwork.
- Inventory and Materials Management: Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, recording them accurately within our system. Ensure shipments are correctly received into inventory. Organize and maintain material storage across various areas, including the production floor, warehouse, and external yard. Implement the FIFO (first in, first out) principle where applicable. Maintain precise documentation of component usage, ensuring accurate inventory levels and pricing.
- Facility Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized office, shop, warehouse, and exterior areas.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to take on additional tasks as directed by the Operations Manager and the Owner.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to manage inventory and bookkeeping software (Familiarity with Quickbooks is advantageous).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational acumen.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated solid work history, showcasing your reliability.
- Physical capability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs on a regular basis.
