Job Summary

As Hycast’s New Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market reach and driving revenue growth. Your primary responsibility will be identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.



Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification and Outreach: Proactively seek out new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic outreach. Develop and execute initiatives to establish connections and generate leads.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with our marketing team to enhance lead generation strategies and ensure a smooth handoff of leads from digital and traditional channels.
  • Sales Quote Management: Present tailored sales quotes, communicate value propositions effectively, and guide prospects through the negotiation and closing process.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet their objectives.
  • Technical Support: Provide knowledgeable support by understanding customer requirements and presenting solutions that highlight our technical advantages.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics using CRM and other tools, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with Hycast’s goals, enhancing brand visibility and achieving sales targets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, quality, production, and operations teams to ensure alignment and a unified approach to customer needs.
  • Adaptability & Team Support: Take on additional tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to evolving business demands.

 



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with a track record of successful new business acquisition.
  • Strong technical acumen, ideally with experience in the casting, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends and craft strategies that capitalize on opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
