Dining Room Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our residents enjoy an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a willingness to support the culinary team in various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Assist with bussing tables by clearing away used dishes and utensils promptly to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Help with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for the culinary team.
• Support the kitchen staff by keeping the kitchen area organized and clean, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Maintain proper sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Assist with catering events or hotel functions as required, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Willingness to help others and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus, particularly in culinary or catering settings.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
