Overall Purpose : The Systems Administrator will support the implementation and maintenance of new and existing technologies, assist with the transition and migration of corporate systems, and contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of IT operations
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assist in configuring, troubleshooting, and deploying software, hardware enhancements, network hardware, and infrastructure upgrades
- Collaborate with senior System Administration staff and team members to diagnose and resolve technical issues, system and network-related issues.
- Provide flexible and responsive technical support to users across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and administrative teams, addressing a wide range of IT needs to ensure operational efficiency and productivity.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging and existing technologies, applying knowledge to enhance system performance.
- Support the deployment of new software, network configurations, and upgrade installations under the guidance of senior staff.
- Help identify and report potential security threats and vulnerabilities to protect company systems
- Assist in monitoring data backup processes to ensure availability for recovery during emergencies and contribute to disaster recovery planning
- Assist in the evaluation and improvement of company systems under the guidance of senior staff
- Develop and maintain proficiency in system administration of computers and their operating systems, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement
- Adhere to 5S Standards
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety
