About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Hydrite. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to load and unload rail cars and bulk tankers, handle waste material, fill out inspections check sheets, and complete prism tasks.
Responsibilities
- Moves and spots tankers as necessary
- Loads and unloads rail cars, bulk tankers, box trailers, pump drums, dump drums, 50-100 LB sacks, supersacks, and makes tank-to-tank transfers according to established SOPs
- Fills out daily and weekly inspections check sheets as assigned
- Completes prism tasks for material transfers move tickets, material usage, prism logs, work orders, raw material inventory, produced inventory, and ensures compliance to PRISM and ISO 9001:2008 SOPs and documentation as directed by the shift supervisor
- Fills out all vessel batch logs, reports, manifests, check sheets, etc., as assigned
- Operates processes (adjusting variables such as temperature, pressure, feed rate, sampling, etc.) in accordance with SOPs; notifies shift supervisor of deviations from the SOPs
- Recommends changes in SOPs and process-related equipment
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Production Supervisor.
Preferred Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. A Class A CDL with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and Hazardous and tanker endorsements is required. Warehouse experience is preferred, as well as forklift operation experience. Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office are also required. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Estimated Salary
$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
