HR Payroll Coordinator

This position will report directly to the General Manager and Office Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Process and monitor FMLA and Workers' Compensation occurrences to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor, review, and approve employee time and attendance punches, ensuring accuracy of recorded hours and leave balances.
- Ensure accurate payment of overtime rules across multiple states, adhering to local and federal regulations.
- Verify each employee is paid according to specific job requirements, whether they be prevailing wage, normal wage, or any combination.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism in all interactions and communications.
- Handle confidential employee information with sensitivity and discretion.
- Provide training and support for local office employees regarding mobile time-tracking applications.
- Process new hire onboarding, employee benefits, and HRIS data updates in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct background checks for new employees and ensure all required documentation is processed in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Process and maintain I-9 forms through E-Verify for all new hires, ensuring accurate completion and compliance with federal regulations.
