We're scouting for a Precision Machining Specialist to join our team in Aston, PA. This full-time role comes with relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
This pivotal role places you at the heart of our operations, where you'll engage in the artistry of machining large industrial pump parts to stringent specifications. Harness your expertise in metal properties, setups, and precision processes whilst operating manual lathes and more.
The Role:
- Conduct elaborate setups and operate conventional machine tools including mills, drills, and lathes.
- Examine engineering drawings and blueprints, focusing on geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Maintain tight machining tolerances and perform meticulous inspections with micrometers.
- Enhance methods to advance the quality of machined components like impellers and shafts.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and a sharp attention to detail.
- Beyond team collaboration, expect to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications You'll Bring:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent with 5-10 years of hands-on machining experience preferred.
- Proven 5 years in a machine shop dealing with mentioned equipment.
- Valid work status and authorization is required.
- Ability to successfully meet pre-employment requirements by passing a basic physical exam and drug screen.
