Starting Rate of pay: 18.78/hour.
Shifts Available and Hours: Day Shift – 12-hour shift – 3 days on/4 days off one week – then 4 days on/3 days off every other weekend off.
Shift Premium: Nightshift - $1.00/hour extra
Job Responsibilities:
- Promotes an environment where doing things safety is Highest Priority.
- Ensure all employees fulfill their HSE responsibilities and sets the example for the team to follow.
- Actively participates in workplace and behavioral observations.
- Assist accident/incident reviews and develop corrective actions.
- Continually drive housekeeping initiative and improvements.
- Attends a brief safety meeting at the beginning of each shift.
- Ensure Safety, Quality, and productivity with fellow team members.
- Complete all required data entries/paperwork for the shift.
- Identities areas of concern throughout the shift and reports concerns to the Cast house Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to understand and follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
- Must have Minimum one-year experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
- Will be required to lift approximately twenty to fifty (20-50) pounds, either from time to time, or continuously.
- Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to their specific area of responsibility.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours shift.
- Good math skills and forklift a plus experience.
