Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: $22-$30/hr.

Position Summary
Under the direction of more experienced Operators, the CCTV Operator will operate a closed-circuit television truck and utilize robots to televise sewer collection system pipes in accordance with industry PACP standards to develop written reports of sewer and storm water lines while working with a GIS data base to input CCTV information checking for consistency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in daily safety talks and works in a safe manner for self and others
- Learn to understand site maintenance of traffic / Follow traffic control protocols
- Learn how to launch inspection and retrieval of robotic camera equipment in sewer pipeline systems for municipal customers.
- Take direction from Lead Operators in daily work while learning the camera system and software’s
- Learn the importance of repair and maintenance of CCTV camera units including communicating with software vendors for program updates; learn to trouble shoot and perform routine camera maintenance
- Learn to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on a digital or PDF map
- Daily reporting and uploading of data findings to company software
- Become knowledgeable using computers to utilize inspection software, ArcGIS Online maps, Excel, Word, and email
- Accurately complete utility inspections using approved procedures (as trained by the Company)
- Become effective in using simple hand tools and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic equipment
- Work in all weather conditions / freely access outdoor worksites in wide-ranging locations
- Become proficient at using current technology such as a smartphone and tablet
- Act as a team player to help meet deadlines, production goals and team objectives
- Demonstrate communication skills with other employees, clients and the public
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
- Ability to obtain Confined Space Training certification
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to perform basic math skills
