Position Summary
Your role as a Field Operations Supervisor is to manage a group of Survey Technicians and act as a liaison between project managers and field personnel by providing support, managing tasks, and receiving maps.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor production and quality reporting of all Survey Technicians reporting to the Supervisor and work with Survey Technicians to improve any production or quality issues
- Receive and respond to first line of technical support issues for Survey Technicians in the group and escalate to Field Operations Manager and/or Project Manager as needed
- Track and manage distribution and collection of plat maps via MobileFrame and other tools
- Manage new leaks that arise from the group
- Utilize web maps to facilitate corrections as needed
- Utilize FTP for accessing and uploading files, as necessary
- Proactively report any issues observed with Survey Technicians to the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager
- Manage inventory of equipment used by Survey Technicians in the group, including cones, signage, logo magnets, first aid kit, dog repellent spray, batteries, highlighters, and more
- Ensure all safety requirements, policies, and procedures are followed and enforced, as necessary
- Initiate written discipline
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of gas leak survey experience
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
- Strong communication and organizational ability
- Ability to lead, motivate and provide direction to geographically dispersed team
- Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks
- Proficient in using current technology such as smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively communicate with Hydromax USA employees, clients, and the public in an articulate, professional manner
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be highly organized
- High attention to detail
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
