Overview:
HydroSolutions of Duluth is seeking a meticulous and dependable experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services. Must have GD & T and CMM experience. This position is a member of the Quality team in Performing dimensional and visual inspections assuring conformance of detail and sub-assembly parts. Long-term goals are to develop additional skills and abilities to take on expanded duties relating to our quality system. Pay depending on experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow work instructions and documentation that conform to customers’ requirements. This position is responsible for effectively communicating with other co-workers.
Requires the ability to independently operate simple inspection tools and gauges. Following set process requirements to assure conformance as well as making suggestions for process improvements.
Duties are to include but not limited to the following:
- Evaluation of pieces parts and assemblies
Use of Standard Hand Measuring Tools.
Caliper, Height Gage, etc.
- Fill out quality documentation and reports.
First Article Inspection Reports
Final Inspections
Fixed Process Control Plans
Non-conformance and Corrective Action Reports
- Additional training will be provided.
Optical Keyence IM system
Articulating CMM Hexagon Scanner and Probe
Innovmetric Polyworks Software
GD&T Blueprint Reading
BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:
Required Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
- Strong at Interpreting Mechanical Drawings
- Operation of Standard Hand Measuring Tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Word
- Excel
- Outlook
- Documentation Skills
Preferred Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
- CAD Experience Required!
- Inventor/ Solid works or other 3D model software.
- General Understanding of GD&T
- Experience Operating CMMs
- Experience Programming CMMs
- Innovmetric PolyWorks
- Keyence IM
Skills and Abilities:
Detail Oriented, Self Starter, High level of quality in workmanship at any task. Must be dependable!
Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to lift 75lbs.
