With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Camarillo, CA! This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Responsibilities :
Performs all aspects of the accounts payable function by matching purchase orders to invoices, as well as receiving documents and entering the invoices according to department policies and deadlines. Works with the other A / P Specialist on the weekly check runs.Reviews all invoices for appropriate approval, documentation and general ledger account coding prior to processing in the A / P system. Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.Investigates and resolves issues associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders in coordination with the Purchasing Department.Communicates effectively with vendors and other employees to resolve discrepancies, as well as responds to all vendor inquiries in a timely manner. Maintains vendor files and documentation in accordance with policy.Reconciles vendor statements, researching and correcting discrepancies. Keeps track of credits owed to the company, and ensures all credits are properly applied to vendor payments.Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required. College courses in Finance preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of Accounts Payable or General Accounting experience required.Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Adobe Acrobat and 10-key touch required.Salary Range (applicable to California) :
27.00 - $28.50 DOE
