The Opportunity:
The Client Executive of Executive Benefits and Advanced Life Insurance Strategies will be primarily responsible for generating internal sales from existing client base. The Client Executive will be focused on creating financial solutions for clients utilizing life insurance as the primary financing vehicle. Solutions for clients can include executive benefits, key-person, buy/sell funding, and other business-related life insurance transactions. The Client Executive would be the key point of contact for internal referrals, enhancing relationships with existing clients.
In This Role You Will Execute On:
- Establish a sales plan to work with Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty Client and Account Executives to market and sell services offered through the Advanced Life Insurance Services division. This would be done both virtually and in-person throughout the various offices.
- Generate an adequate pipeline of potential clients and referral sources to meet growth needs.
- Work closely with Client and Account Executives to enhance existing client relationships.
- Work with insurance companies and GAs to develop and strengthen relationships while building insurance solutions that provide value for both client and Hylant.
- Develop and manage a book of business.
- Work with prospects, clients, and COIs to develop strategies that accomplish their goals for highly compensated executives and business owners.
- Communicate with and support Client Executives and other appropriate service support professionals to ensure optimal client service.
- Maintain compliance and data accuracy with available tools.
- Provide professional, accurate, timely, and complete deliverables to clients (internal and external).
In This Role You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 1-5 years of related practice industry experience
- 1-5 years of insurance industry experience
- Professional Designation(s) preferred including: CLU/CLFC/CFP/CPA.
- Exceptional working and technical knowledge of the insurance industry to effectively problem solve for clients utilizing life insurance as a solution.
- Exceptional communication skills, relationship development, and the ability to effectively multitask.
- Proven time management skills handling internal and external requests, prioritizing projects, and working with tight deadlines are all essential to success in this role.
- Proven confidence and ability to run client meetings independently, specifically with high-level executives.
- Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.
