Job Purpose
The Advanced Engineer, Embedded Controls supports development and testing of generator systems, working as part of Hyliion's KARNO technology team. This position will work with hardware and software engineers to deliver embedded systems solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and integration of embedded systems software and hardware for controlling generator technologies
- Work in a lab environment with hands-on systems integration support
- Test and evaluation of new embedded system features and functions
- Working with host PC interfaces for logging, viewing, analyzing, and summarizing data from embedded targets
- Participate in daily stand-ups and other team meetings

Qualifications include :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a team and on own initiative
Role Classification and Working Conditions
This is a salaried, exempt -level position. This position typically works in an office environment; and given the nature of our business is also exposed to operations / warehouses / production environments.
