What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Coordinator position at Hyosung HICO, Ltd.?
SUMMARY :
Under moderate supervision, the Recruiting Coordinator will provide HR administrative and team support for a full range of essential HR functions with emphasis on staffing and recruiting, affirmative action, HR administration, and maintenance of HR records and files for legal and regulatory compliance. In addition, you will provide support for the Company's HR programs, training programs and environmental and safety programs and other business-related initiatives, as required.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING :
- Provide administrative support to the human resources department in carrying out HR and Recruiting programs and procedures.
- Safeguards, maintains, and preserves the security with the highest degree of confidentiality of employee information, data and files at all times.
- Monitors compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as regulations from other applicable agencies, notifies managers of potential issues in a confidential and professional manner.
- Supports new hires and current employees of hiring status and position updates, departmental transfers, directs employees to appropriate department or software applications for results.
- Works with HR Director, Recruiting Manager and Recruiting Team and all HR administration in processing and filing of new hire paperwork, interview and career event paperwork : also, while maintaining a positive response with emphasis on employee customer service.
- Records and maintains employee referral programs as well as monitoring the referral bonus payment programs.
- Records and maintains records in HRIS system.
- Provide administrative support for E- Verify. May assist in maintaining immigration and visa documentation.
- Assist in publishing job listings to internal and external job boards.
- Assist in the scheduling of interviews with hiring managers and candidates and administers pre-employment assessments to assist with reference and background screenings, including travel arrangements when appropriate.
- Participates in the new hire and on-boarding processes, including review of company policies, collection and processing of new hire paperwork, and completion of orientation.
- Receives and addresses employee questions regarding company policies, recruiting updates, processes procedures and benefit plans and directs questions to the appropriate person.
- Coordinates recruitment events such as job fairs and open houses.
- Provide assistance to employees and managers with routine inquiries and escalate employee questions and issues to appropriate levels of management, when necessary.
- Maintain affirmative action data and ensure recruiting files have necessary data for annual plan.
- Enter data in HRIS, maintain Hyosung HICO organization charts, personnel, safety, and recruiting records as required.
- Support and assist Hyosung HICO's Human Resources staff and other staff as needed. This includes back up desk relief for our lobby, that could also include desk relief for our HR Suite.
- Know HYOSUNG HICO's Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.
