Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator

*Must be bilingual in Spanish/English*


Openwork is on the lookout for a Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator to support our Olive Branch, MS location. This role is responsible for the onsite operations such as: recruiting, employee and client engagement, account management, and leadership.  If you are passionate about client relationships, employee engagement, and onsite HR responsibilities then this could be the role for you!

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Recruiting: Finds talent from multiple sources including direct recruiting, referrals, advertising, social media, grass roots efforts, and community involvement
  • Interviewing: Conducts interviews, additionally prepares talent for client interviews, if necessary
  • Hiring: Places appropriately skilled talent on assignments following vetting, including interviews, background check, drug screening, skills assessments and education and reference verifications, as needed
  • Translate during job interviews with Spanish speaking only talent
  • Translate during new hire orientations (translating from English to Spanish) Typically orientations can last up to 3 hours
  • Handle talent and client engagement
  • Handle general staffing specialist job duties (recruiting and resume screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, etc.)
  • Manage workers comp incidents
  • Onsite coaching and counseling, ER investigations (client will provide conference room)
  • Responsible for submission of resumes
  • Responsible for sending interview confirmations and new hire orientations
  • Enforcing all company policies: Attendance, SICO, Housekeeping rules, Time off Requests, Medical Release, etc
  • Responsible for entering new hires into the system as well as terminating them in Avionte and updating the tracker. Back-Up support (sourcers)
  • Responsible for compliance – To review all screenings prior to submitting to client for consideration
  • Issuing paycards
  • Downloading policies, saving and sending out those policies to new hire before the start.
  • Onboarding/ E-VERIFY
  • Reviewing the timeclocks daily to ensure that talent is reporting to work on time.
  • Responsible for talent retention and culture champion – Birthday announcements, perfect attendance, Conversion announcements with picture with onsite team
  • Reporting
  • Update recruiting team/ Market Manager: On any new developments, challenges, success stories, etc
