As the Corporate Controller with Hyper Solutions you will assist with planning and directing the accounting operations of the company. You'll be responsible for the general ledger, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, support ERP system implementation, and manage the departmental staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

• Responsible for all key accounting functions including AR, AP, GL, Inventory, Cost Accounting and Payroll within GAAP standards.
• Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial close processes, including setting calendar, distributing closing checklists, performing preliminary reviews of financial statements.
• Review of the manufacturing processes, cost of materials, and variance analysis.
• Review weekly disbursement requests and make recommendations based on cash flow objectives and DPO targets.
• Supports analysis and implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Act as primary liaison to external auditors and tax accountants, to ensure timely and complete responses on annual, interim, and periodic requests.
• Overseeing regulatory reporting including tax planning and compliance.
• Manage annual operating budget process.
• Manage the cash flow forecast process.
• Hiring, training and managing of skilled accounting staff.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Licensed CPA required.
• 2 years of Public Accounting Experience preferred.
• Prior experience managing an accounting staff.
• Experience directing all functions of AR, AP, GL, Inventory, Cost Accounting and Payroll within GAAP standards.
• Experience in the manufacturing, engineering or technology industry a plus.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing processes for a growing multimillion dollar corporation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software.
